Twenty Twenty by Anuraag Srivastava
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Life is a fast-paced Twenty20 game, and you need to keep playing to win.

Abhi and Aditi are siblings who want to realise their dreams in the ever upgrading world. In the midst of all the struggle and success, they get entangled in a strange web. If they are not able to resolve the crisis in twenty days, their very existence can come under threat. In short, they have to hit sixes on every bouncer thrown at them. Not just with the world outside, this ordeal is also a fight with one's own character and principles.

Unwanted situations, unexpected turns, money and sex push them deeper into the web. Manipulations and treachery become the order. The hunter becomes the hunted. A vicious circle of betrayal and debauchery is created.

TWENTY TWENTY is a story of betrayal, deceit and relationships, where a master planner devises games, to get to his own ambitions.

My view -

Twenty Twenty: a race against time by Anuraag Srivastava, is an thriller which is blended with friendship, love, lust, desires. The story is based on the desires of humans and the way they choose to achieve it.

I think author given the perfect piece of thriller. The plot have more sub plots which deals with the intense subjects like how women being played as an business card and more you need to explore and find out.

I loved the idea of making a story around twenty days which gives an apt title too. About the story, it completely surrounds with Abhi, a software techie who reside with her sister in Bangalore. He invested a huge amount in share market, which goes down and add to the pressure his debt increases and the local goons from whom he got money starts threatening him and at last given him twenty days to submit his twenty lakhs of debt. How he finds out a way to crisis his debt, what way he chose, what were their consequences.. Read the novel to find out the answers and remaining wonders I missed to tell..

Apart from the story, cover is beautiful and suits well with story. The bond between siblings, the corporate tricks, illegal activities and thrilling narration gives extra spices to the story.

Overall, Twenty Twenty is an good read if you like drama, thriller.

Ps:- Book contains adult content.
