Blurb-

Ajeet is a commoner, a boy next door who is away from the Worldliness and moreover just a happy-go-lucky guy. Aditi and Ajeet are batch mates in a Junior College and share a good chemistry. Aditi is all head over heels for Ajeet and without any hesitation, irrespective of the time and place boldly conveys her feelings for him. Ajeet was infatuated towards Aditi, however, finds his true love in Sumi whom he meets in his coaching class. Wanting to break away from the conventional norms and the shackles of a traditional familial business and to prove his worth to his dad, Ajeet joins Army. Years later a tragedy connects Ajeet, Sumi, and Aditi once again, however, changing their lives forever.

My views-

I Wear The Smile You Gave by Shweta Shah is an romantic fiction. The first and foremost thing which I liked in the book is the beautiful cover and its little unusual title "I wear the smile you gave" from other usual romantic fictions, it indeed developed the curiosity within me to know what author meant by it.

Before going into the novel with the title I preassumed it might be a story of lost love or story of love which grew old with ages. So when coming to the story it started with Ajeet dropping her daughter Asmi to first day in playschool and while returning he get to watch an accident which he helped out to the person met with accident, which eventually drown him into his memories of how his love of life Sumi had met with accident alike he watched today and tends to describe from meeting her and how he grew feelings towards her, how he proposed to her and how they got together and very last is shocking of all where she left his alone in the memories.

The narration is done level best by three lead characters Ajeet , Sumi and Aditi. The flashback story has a triangle kind of love story, while in 11th std Ajeet and Aditi came together as lab batchemates, from then aditi started to feel love for Ajeet but the moment of aditi revealing this to Ajeet is a very bad timing which makes them can't be together from his heart. From then Ajeet started look Sumi her classmate but he doesn't knows since that after that how the time gets back together even when he joins army and long distance relationship, school friendships all were narrated beautifully without much flaws with the lucid language.

Apart from story, narration and language, I had also felt characterization is also made simple without much complication when narrating flashbacks.

Overall, I Wear The Smile You Gave is an go to book for all love story lovers and who wants to have a good time with story of love, friendship, family relationships, feelings, emotions.
