Some friends are special, because their stories are special. Stories that are innocent, beautiful, colourful and different in their own way.

This is one such story of friendship and its journey to love.
A Journey in which they were not together.

A typical middle class lad, and a mealy-mouthed mummy-papa boy, Vishwas never imagined that in just seven days life will twist his roads and leave him at place he had never dreamt of.

A typical middle class girl, a go-getter, and indefatigably correct when it’s between the two, Shailja always believed that one day her life will be at crossroads.

Wreathed in smiles, with his bag of dreams, aspirations and youthful reveries, Vishwas sets off on his dream journey from his small world in the tranquil foothills of the Himalayas. But soon the small town boy’s dreams and fantasies are hijacked by the pace and character of the big city he lands in. The roller coaster called life derails from the path he chooses and goes amok refusing to stop, until he discovers a truth he hadn’t imagined.

What happened in those seven days that changed his life forever?
Will he accept what the destiny unfolds? Will he fight? Will he run?

Or fate has something else in store for him?

Those 7 Days by Anmol Rana. First of all, I would say this is an apt title with Beautiful cover. Before going into the story I think Almost we all have a friend who travels with us during all the times, We know they were special but how did that special turns to the next level, I mean love. They know all about us, then what is the difference between friendship and love.

Those 7 days is such a story of friendship between Vishwas and Shailja. The next door neighbors and best friends from their childhood to adolescence. What happens to this friendship when one day Vishwas decides to go to Delhi for his job from Dehradun. How he going to face the big city? What are the things waiting for him? How he get rid from his friend who playing him as dice. Lot more genuine real life happenings.

Shortly the story is of whatever happens in Vishwas's life on 7 days from his journey to Delhi and until his return to Dehradun, from the excitement of first day job to various new experiences in Delhi he faces were written so grippingly.

The author beautifully written the problems and insecurities faces by new comers in a broad metropolitan city, the initial adjustments in job. Twists and turns happens in Vishwas life is so realistic and very interesting in simple manner.

Overall, "Those 7 days" is the rivalry between friendship and love with realistic emotions and feelings of two genuine hearts.
