The Flame Of Anahata by Saranya Umakanthan, this is the second book in Comeback warrior trilogy. It is a Historical fiction blends with love, friendship, thrill, myth, rage, royalty and many more emotions throughout. It states the love story of Indrajeeth and Deepali which continues over the century. The story travels in two timelines and various themes.

Blurb:

Suraj finds his Guruji unconscious beside a cave clutching the warrior Indrajith’s diary. His heart-rending love story then unfolds. Being trapped in a web of emotions, Indrajith endured the pain of his lost love, hurting himself and trampled Deepali’s hope for his adopted brother… Who was he?

THE FLAME OF ANAHATA!

Will the fire of love ever flicker in the hearts of Diya and Suraj?

My views -

I would say this as author succeeded in her new try, made me to engaged till the last page because of the interconnected story between past and present. While in present Suraj was disappointed with Diya's rejection towards his proposal, he found the diary of Indrajeeth (Suraj's past life) which makes him to connect with his past and gave him the answer of why she denied and his reason to rebirth. Therefore the story moves towards how Suraj succeeded in his love and how he safeguard the Mann-Parivarthana astra from his previous life enemies - Bakula and Varsha.

As I said earlier it travels with two timelines and yet it doesn't get bored, fast paced with new concepts like Anahata and Paanch-Dost-Gupta cake is deeply engraved into emotions which states the significance of love and friendship.

The novel is to be read for to know the significance of Anahata & Lotus and also for the simple & elegant narration. Overall, The Flame of Anahata is a fantasy novel which is fairly unique and makes you to turn pages continuously.
