Fast Furious Lies: Story- 3 (Ajit Panicker's L . S . D) by Ajit Panicker
My rating: 3 of 5 star

Blurb -

Fast Furious Lies is the third story of the title, Ajit Panicker’s L.S.D- Unconfessed Stories of Love, Lust and Treachery.

It is a standalone short story and part of the L.S.D title, which is the first book as an anthology in the bold series.

Joy George is India’s fastest Formula-one racing car champion, one who has become the most wanted F1 driver in the circuit. He was about to participate in the world’s biggest racing car event.

But that’s not the only side of Joy. He is a top notch Casanova and his frequency of changing girlfriends can put any celebrity to shame.

Then something happens to him that messes up not only his personal life but also his flourishing racing career.

He gets disqualified from the biggest racing event, Monaco Grand Prix, on grounds of indiscipline. He misses two major practice sessions before the major event, and the organizers and hence the team owners get forced to drop him.

What made Joy George, the king of Formula-one circuit, lose all the fame and credibility he had built up in years?

What went wrong? Was it, his philandering ways or was he framed by some other team owners so that their drivers could qualify into the major event?

Read the full story to know, what happened and why…

My views -

Fast Furious Lies by Ajit Panicker, it is one among the ten short stories of series L.S.D. The short story is blended of love, lust, pain and deception.

Story covers the story of Joy George an aspiring formula one racer, who's life gone miserable due to his past. Really a tiny and captivate story.

Author had put forth lots of effort to keep the readers conseal till the end but still the story is guessable. Author's narrative and vocabulary is appreciate able. The characterization was done well only a required amount of characters and equal space to each of them.

Overall, Fast Furious Lies which is barely around 20 pages and took 15 minutes of time shows you the rapid ups and downs of life through the bad decisions of past.
