Shravan is a son of a rickshaw puller and Mugdha, daughter of a Railway officer. He has lived in penury while she has had all the material comforts. He dreams of being a soldier and serving the motherland while she lives in the world of colours. Childhood friendship converts into pure love ignoring the boundaries of a bungalow and its servant quarter. However fate has some other plans and tears apart the two innocent souls, throwing Shravan into a life that has thorns all its way. Will the two live their dreams? Will destiny bring them together again? A novel that will make us believe that life is all about never giving up

My views -

Life is almost a dream which could be luxurious for someone for another it could be horrible can't imagine the hardships they face but both can't be last for long.

A New Dawn is almost like seeing a movie. When reading I can imagine what would coming up next. Author had written so well that she kept those curiosity alive till the end.

An ambitious rickshaw puller, Ramlal whom having only one dream of seeing his two sons and a daughter to study well and not struggle like him. To make this dream a reality he came to Mughalsarai, a nearby town from his village.

Ramlal sons Shravan who is elder one, younger one is Ganesh both started going to a private school through scholarship. Her daughter Rina too started going to government school. Their life started moving well with living in outhouse of Shivyanath who is known for honesty in railway department.

The life isn't about one day when they start growing life has its own way to welcome with some serious hardships and some generous victories.

The love between Shravan and Mugdha grows stronger without realising it is love from childhood. When Mugdha leaves to Calcutta with her father Shivyanath after his promotion they realise it is love and it grows even more stronger in the distance. That's so beautiful part to enjoy. Still the struggle the Ramlal's family overcast the other shows.

The hardwork of Shravan and constat support from Mugdha made him soldier, the aim he had. It made him more confident to stand before his idol Shivyanath and say his love towards her daughter. Still life have not left Shravan had his own twist.

Shravan's character will make you to believe in hardwork and never give up the dream. A New Dawn, an inspiring story through short pages and lucid language.

Overall, A New Dawn with soulful story, a nutritious narration and well plotted characterization brings a perfect novel to read in weekend.
